Please donate to help us with our cause. To rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome animals in need.  You can also pay for our events using the "Donate" button below and noting the event name upon payment.
Ahimsa Haven would like to thank all of the generous people, businesses, and organizations who have donated to us over the years to keep us up and running.  Recently, in particular, we would like to thank the Robinson-Broadhurst Foundation, Massachusetts Animal Coalition, Workers Credit Union, Sanctuary, and Amy Rosenfeld & Lissa Walsh.  We can't do it without you!

To adopt these beautiful cats you must have a reliable and consistent vet reference.
We make every effort to update the cat listings/pictures on a regular basis.   Kittens are a bit more difficult to keep current, though.  Once you have had an adoption application approved, you will be able to talk with our Cat Manager about all of the kitties available for adoption.  The current number of cats is given below.

You can submit an APPLICATION FORM for a particular cat or generically if you haven't yet decided.  Just be aware that you may have to wait to bring them home.   We are an all volunteer organization and we appreciate your patience.
The cats in our care are our top priority.  Therefore, we believe in finding them their "Forever Home".  We work hard to place each cat in a permanent home in which he/she will thrive.  Cats can live up to 20 years and it's important to realize the longevity of the commitment you are making to this animal and their care.
Other questions to ask:

  • What kind of pet is right for you?
  • Can you afford to care for your pet's health and safety?
  • Do you have a plan for when you travel?
  • Are you willing to pet-proof your home?
  • Are you ready for unexpected pet challenges if they occur?
  • Is your entire family OK with and ready for a pet?
